Last October take place at EUIPO the Conference on “TRADE MARKS AND GEOGRAPHICAL INDICATIONS: FUTURE PERSPECTIVES”, organized by Directorate General of Agriculture and Rural Development of the European Commission (DG AGRI) and the European Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). The panel “The relations between trade marks and geographical indications”, was chaired by Mr. Dimitris Botis – Deputy Director for Legal Affairs, of EUIPO, and the speakers were Prof.Dr. Alexander von Mühlendahl, J.D., LL.M., Attorney-at-Law at BardehlePagenbergand Prof. Pilar Montero, Director of the Intellectual Property Master of the University of Alicante (Magister Lvcentinvs).
